Criss Angel attempts to defy the laws of gravity and walk up the entire side of the Luxor Hotel and Casino which rises more than 650 feet above the Las Vegas strip and disappear into the incinerating light atop the pyramid in front of thousands of spectators.

“Cement Shoes” – Wednesday, August 18 at 10 PM ET/PTAn homage to Harry Houdini’s most dangerous escape, Criss is chained and shackled with more than 100 feet of chains and more than 20 locks and lowered 90 feet from the side of the London Bridge in the cold, murky water of Lake Havasu, Arizona in front of 12,000 spectators. Actress Deepika Padukone plays the role of Kalpana Dutta in Ashutosh Gowariker's next Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey which is based on a true event.The period thriller is based on the book Do and Die by Manini Chatterjee. Speaking about Kalpana Dutta, director Ashutosh Gowariker said, " Kalpana Dutta was just 17 when the Chittagong Uprising took place.
She was a voracious reader and was inspired by stories of the youngest revolutionaries. Along with her friend Pritilata Wadadar, she played different roles within the revolutionary movement, including that of a courier transporting acid from Calcutta to Chittagong.
After her arrest, the court took into consideration her age and sex and she was given a lifer. After she got released in May 1939 she married P.C. Joshi (General secretary of the Communist Party of India). The author Manini Chatterji is her daughter-in-law.
He further added, "Deepika has brought an energy and feistiness to the character of Kalpana Datta which is very endearing.
I am enamoured by her performance". Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is director Ashutosh Gowariker’s first epic period thriller and has been shot mostly in Goa along with portions in Mumbai.
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is presented by AGPPL and PVR Pictures and is jointly produced by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Bijli and Sunita A. Gowariker. Other credits include lyrics Javed Akhtar, music Sohail Sen, costume designer Neeta Lulla, art director Nitin Desai and director of photography Kiiran Deohans.

North Korea Attacks Hawaii!
North Korea may launch a long-range ballistic missile towards Hawaii on American Independence Day, according to Japanese intelligence officials.
The missile, believed to be a Taepodong-2 with a range of up to 4,000 miles, would be launched in early July from the Dongchang-ni site on the north-western coast of the secretive country.
Intelligence analysts do not believe the device would be capable of hitting Hawaii's main islands, which are 4,500 miles from North Korea.

Yes, that's right! I need a new PDA Phone. My old nokia 5800 phone's LCD is broken. The cost to repair it is at 2500 to 3,000 pesos or $66 more or less. Instead of getting it fixed, I choose to buy a new PDA phone. I've searched ebay.com and sulit.com for available PDA phones. I've seen quite a few good second hand phones but I am yet to close a deal.. If you know of anyone selling cheap PDA phones, please let me know via theconfessant@gmail.com. You can also leave a comment in this blog post too. I am an ebayer as well so I can pay sellers thru ebay -paypal or even through banking or gcash.
I badly need a new pda phone! So please help me by sharing this post anywhere like on facebook or friendster, etc. I have a 4500 to 6,000 pesos or $130 maximum budget which I based on ebay, sulit, olx. I may increase my budget depending on the unit's condition.

Ash set to do cameo in Abhishek’s next
Bollywood’s favourite couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan seem to be making every effort to spend as much time as possible with each other.After enthralling the audiences with their roles in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, Abhishek and Aishwarya in fact want to do more movies and commercials together. The latest we hear is that Ash is planning to play a cameo in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum.
Sources inform, “The couple has been seen together in a few commercials, but they have not signed any films together. When Rohan wanted an actress for a cameo, he decided to approach Aishwarya for the role. The actress who often visits the film’s sets to meet her husband, agreed immediately.”
This film marks the coming together of Abhishek and director Sippy after their successful collaboration in Bluffmaster. Abhishek plays the role of a fearless undercover cop in the film. It is said that Abhishek’s role in the film is similar to the role.
That his father Amitabh Bachchan played in Zanjeer during the 60s. The film is an action thriller that deals with the drug mafia of Goa. Abhishek plays a brooding cop on a mission. Set in contemporary Goa, Abhishek was required to study narcotic neurosis and criminal quirks to master the role of the cop.
