Esha Gupta strips in public!

The actress had to do the 'act' in front of a crowd of extras on the sets of 'Raaz 3'

Imagine having to shed your clothes in front of 300 odd people! Model-turned-Esha Gupta had to do just that for her role in Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming horror film. Despite requesting the director to cancel the scene, Esha had to finally shoot the sequence.

Recalling her experience, Esha says, “My character is wearing a sexy gown when she enters a party hall. However, soon she sees ghosts moving towards her and crisscrossing through her body. In order to get rid of them, I was required to scream and rip my clothes.”
Esha says it was an extremely awkward moment for her as there were almost 300 extras present on the sets during this scene.

She says, “Vikram was very confident about me doing the scene perfectly. My friends helped me relax and finally, I gave my shot.” In fact, once she wrapped up the scene, the crewmembers couldn’t stop clapping and cheering her.

The show must go on

Esha admits that while she is extremely scared of ghosts, she enjoys watching horror films. Apparently, the actress was a fan of Aahat when she was a kid. However, scared she was, she never stopped watching the telly show. In fact, her entire family joined her in front of the TV set.

Watch: Esha Gupta in an all-new avatar

Watch: Esha Gupta in an all-new avatar
Model-turned-actress Esha Gupta embraces an all-new look for Prakash Jha's next 'Chakravyuh'

It’s time for model-turned-actress Esha Gupta to experiment with an avatar she may not be entirely familiar with.

After making a ‘glamorous’ debut in Jannat 2, she will also don a similar look in Vikram Bhatt’s next, opposite Emraan Hashmi. However, in Prakash Jha’s next film, Esha will go completely de-glam. Her character is that of a cop.

Esha not only took part in several workshops to perfect her new look and role, she also performed some stunts from a helicopter.

Jha points out, “Esha did around 10 workshops with us to get into the skin of her character. She learnt the basic nuances of getting the right body language, look and dialect as she plays a cop from Bhopal.”

The director adds, “She did a very good stunt sequence on a helicopter where the door was open and there was a lot of firing. It was quite a daredevil act, which we shot in a jungle near Pachmarhi.”
