Shreyas is happy to work with Priyadarshan

Actor Shreyas has come in association with Priyadarshan for the first time and he seems to be quite happy

He tells CS, “Priyan Sir likes the hero sticking to his script. He asks, ‘What is the line? Please just say that.’ He doesn’t like anyone improvising. You can of course ask him for permission and if he thinks it might work, he lets you go ahead and add your bit to the original dialogues.

He is quite a task master. For me, working with Priyan Sir have been revelations. It has been a great experience as you have to keep reinventing yourself and he gave me an opportunity to do just that.”

Shreyas Talpade replaces Tusshar Kapoor in Sunny Deol's film

After much delay, Sunny Deol's next film is all set to roll again; Shreyas Talpade joins the cast

Neeraj Pathak’s Sunny Deol-starrer that was plagued with production problems now gets a fresh lease of life. The film is back on track with an addition to the cast — Shreyas Talpade. The actor has been included instead of Tusshar Kapoor, who opted out due to date issues.

As the project was being continuously delayed, Tusshar decided to walk out as his other projects were being affected.

Says Shreyas, “I essay the role of a writer and have a distinct look in the film. I am super-excited about it as it is an action-comedy.” The film, which has Sunny essay a double role, also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel and Prakash Raj.

Producer Fauzia Arshi who was involved in a dispute with director Neeraj Pathak has sorted out the issues. The shooting resumed yesterday in the city. The film had been stalled after an initial spell of shooting in Mahabaleshwar due to budgetary reasons.

There had also been buzz that the film was being shelved and another producer was taking over the film. But Fauzia says, “I am happy that the project is on. My co-producer and I have made it roll again.”

Ajay Devgn breaks container on Rohit Shetty's head

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has pulled off many stunts in his career, but this was unique. He went ahead and broke a glass bottle on his director friend Rohit Shetty's head on the sets of Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. The duo, along with Kareena Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, made a special appearance on the show for the music release of their upcoming film Golmaal 3. Ajay did the stunt in good fun, after music director duo Sajid-Wajid coaxed the usually reticent actor to sing a song for the audience. The actor gave in to their request and sang Mere naina sawan bhadon.

After fulfilling their demand, Ajay asked the composers to do a stunt that he chose to demonstrate - he broke a bottle on Shetty's head and the latter started bleeding. When Ajay asked Sajid-Wajid to be ready for the same, they chickened out, said a source from the sets. But guess who was sporting enough? It was the show's new host, actor Manish Paul, who ended up getting the bottle cracked on his derriere. The episode will be telecast on Sunday.
