Can You Be Too Close To Your Pet?

This is a list I came across online...I, myself, am guilty of 4/8 here...I'm normal...Aren't I?

Your pet is on Facebook.
And has more friends than you do. While social media welcomes four-legged friends (see Dogbook), posting updates in the voice of your pooch (Just back from the dog park -- good times!) is somewhat troubling.

You refer to another animal as your pet's boyfriend or girlfriend.
Playdates are fine; it's quite another to subject pals to a full-on Fido fete. ; date-dates are not.

Your pet has a pet name.
It will only confuse your animal when you refer to her as "baby," "monkey," "stinky," etc.

Someone has actually said to you, "It's me or the dog."
if it comes to this, then dog help you.

Your pooch never misses her monthly paw-dicure.
Yes, there are now pet-friendly spa vacations, but that doesn't mean you should take them.

You wear coordinating outfits.
We're all for colorblocking, but remember: Your pet is not an accessory.

You leave your estate to your pet.
Animals don't need mansions, drivers or family heirlooms. They will accept treats, though.

You invite friends to celebrate your pet's birthday.
It's one thing to buy your dog a bone for the occasion.
