Avoid Having These Convo's With Your Man:

Here are ten topics women shouldn't talk about with their man, according to relationship expert Dr. Fred Humphrey:

His balding head -- Men may laugh it off when a buddy teases them about a bald spot or receding hairline, but when a woman notices, it brings up the added fear they're losing their appeal to females, too.

His mom -- Every man's mother is the first love of his life so he has a natural tendency to measure every other woman against her. It's usually disastrous for a woman to say anything, but positive remarks about a man's mother.

His idea of romance -- Men secretly see themselves as great lovers, so when a woman is less than praiseworthy about his romantic style or imagination, sparks usually fly - and they're not the romantic kind.

What he drinks and eats -- Unless he's a health food nut, he's tired of having the fun taken out of mealtime by hearing that all of his favorite foods are fattening, life-threatening or both.

A more successful man -- When a woman talks at length about a more successful man - especially if the man and her mate are close in age - she can expect her mate to get hot under the collar.

The way he looks at other women -- Men are defensive about this because they've taken a lot of criticism for having a roving eye. They feel misunderstood because there's a difference between looking and doing.

His waistline -- When a woman compares her man's flabby physique to some good-looking hunk on TV, or even comments lightly about his potbelly, it touches a raw nerve in a man.

His share of the housework -- Even if they do believe in sexual equality, most men are still sensitive about housework. They don't see it as masculine because their fathers never or rarely did it.

How he spends his money -- A man views his money as his power and resents it when a woman questions how he uses his power. That's why the same man can splurge on drinks with his buddies, sports tickets or even a new sports car, yet become angry when his wife buys a few cosmetics.

Advice about his job -- Men are touchy when women urge them to ask for a raise or to switch jobs. It makes them feel as though they've failed at being aggressive or ambitious enough.

What's the one topic your mate can bring up that starts an immediate argument?
