TOP 10 NIP SLIPS OF 2011

(Eonline) These aren't your parents' nip slips. With all due respect to Janet Jackson, the founding mother of modern day wardrobe malfunctions, the coyly-covered assets and fleeting glimpses of PG-13 cheeky exposure from years past are no more. In their exhibitionist-loving stead are the hard R's of 2011, when starlets bared all -- and in some cases, on multiple occasions -- letting it all hang out on beaches, red carpets, dance floors, runways, Twitter, and, of course, TV. So, some things never change. But which camera-loving, clothes-eschewing stars suffered the most egregious malfunctions of all? Here are the Top 10 Nip Slips of 2011.

10. Lady Gaga
Mother Monster's recent foray into music video nudity doesn't seem quite as shocking when you consider her track record -- but while most of Gaga's fashion risks this year made headlines due to their intentional eyebrow-raising factor, when she hit up the CFDA Awards back in June, she inadvertently let slip more than she intended: some not-so-Little Monsters of her own.

9. Khloe Kardashian Odom
Everyone's favorite outspoken Kardashian let slip more than just her opinions when she appeared on Fox & Friends back in June with sister Kourtney, leaving HD-enabled viewers with the briefest glimpse of her naughty bits, while everyone in the studio was left none the wiser. Eh, no such thing as bad publicity, right?

8. Nancy Grace
She had moves we'd never seen. And that no one -- particularly the FCC -- wants to see again. The cable pundit gave viewers an unexpected eyeful when her lady bits went rogue, popping out of her cinched (though not cinched enough, obviously) Dancing With the Stars getup. Poor Tom Bergeron may never recover. Neither did Nancy's scores, incidentally, as she was voted off not long after the slip. Coincidence?

7. Kathy Griffin
Someone found herself on the Double D list this year. This funnylady with the self-proclaimed banging bikini bod proved that there's no length to which she won't go for a laugh, and blew the lid on her own intentional wardrobe malfunction (if that term even applies to someone who eschews clothes altogether) when she posted a topless Twitpic of herself last spring. Her followers failed to see what was so amusing about it, and it wasn't long before she replaced the offending shot with something a bit more harmless.

6. Coco
We're not sure what's more shocking: that Ice-T's missus had a nip slip of such epic proportions while attending the Richie Rich runway show at New York Fashion Week this fall, or that such a sartorial gaffe had never happened to her before.

5. Courteney Cox
If you think Courteney's ex hubby David Arquette had the market cornered on oversharing this year, think again. The erstwhile Friend no doubt made a couple more chums when paparazzi snapped a photo of the star holidaying in St. Bart's back in March with her Cougar Town costar. If you ever wondered what happens when a skimpy bikini meets an overly fresh wave, there's your answer.

4. Nicki Minaj
And a very, very good morning to you, America. While appearing on GMA in August, Nicki inadvertently showed off her prized assets when her low-cut bra top got a little too low during her set. The performance was on a 5-second delay, but that wasn't enough time for the censors to go to black. Wonder what their hands were busy doing during that time? Mystery for the ages, that one.

3. Scarlett Johansson
True, strictly speaking, ScarJo's wardrobe malfunction was not of her own doing, so isn't exactly on par with the other flash-happy celebs. And what got slipped was way more than a nip -- but this starlet's instantly viral naked photo leak nevertheless put her front and center for online perving. Fortunately, the hacker was caught and punished. Unfortunately, the damage had been done. Lesson for the kids: don't take naked pics if you plan on being famous. One way or another, they will come out.

2. Kelly Rowland
The X Factor? More like the XXX factor. The former child of destiny literally -- and obliviously -- let it all hang out while performing on Good Morning America back in August. Still, the singer managed to take the entire embarrassing incident in stride, tweeting, "hope you all enjoyed the show and didn't mind the peekaboo." Yeah, we're pretty sure there were no complaints, there.

1. Courtney Love
Bow your head (and cover your eyes!) and all hail 2011's Queen of Nip Slips! Courtney truly outdid herself this year, showing exhibitionist starlets exactly how it's done. Not once, not twice, but an eye-burning three times this erstwhile rock chick strutted her topless stuff. No happy accident, these nip slips were intentional all the way, be it when she was exposing herself on red carpets, or brazenly performing sans top at the São Paolo Music and Arts Festival. Bearing in mind that 2010 saw the rock chick posting nude photos of herself on Twitter, we're almost afraid of just what's left to see of Courtney in 2012. One way or another, we're sure she'll find someway to top herself.
