With Ramesh Taurani apparently unwilling to part with the title, the makers of 'Sher' are looking for an alternative
The producers of Soham Shah directed and Sanjay Dutt-Vivek Oberoi starrer Sher are in deep trouble. Incidentally, the title of the film, which is presently being shot, is registered with producer Ramesh Taurani, who has apparently no intention to part with it. The producers allegedly are now looking at an alternate title for the film.
Our source says, “The producers announced the film with a big bang. The project is being shot in Gujarat and is based on the life of Gujarati gangster Sharman Munjha.
However, after much promotion and announcement, the producers have learnt that the title is already registered with Taurani and that he has no intention to part the title.”
The source adds, “It is noteworthy that the film stars Vivek Oberoi and Taurani is extremely close to Vivek’s archrival Salman Khan.”
Kumar Taurani says, “No one has asked me for the title and I have not decided if I want to give it a way or not.” On the other hand, the official spokesperson of the film states, “We haven’t decided on the title as yet.”
