Tell A Woman A Secret And You've Got About 32 Minutes!

She may super-pinky-swear-promise-to-never-ever-tell, but a new study of 3,000 women found that the average lady will be overcome by the desire to gossip and can typically wait no longer than 32 minutes before sharing whatever secret you've entrusted her with. Depending on who the gossip is about, their husband, mother or best friend are most likely to be the initial recipients of the information. Conducted by the facial skincare brand Simple, the survey found that one in ten admits being unable to keep a secret – no matter how personal or confidential the news is. And 85 per cent said they just love hearing gossip from others. But nearly half admitted they often felt the need to unload their secrets to someone. A sneaky 13 per cent said they intentionally relayed gossip so that it would spread. Old adage: Tell your secrets to no one, not even your closest friend. For if your friend becomes your foe, all your secrets all will know. Apparently especially if she's a woman. (Daily Mail)
